Professional Background

Rolando earned his Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from the University of Texas at San Antonio and went on to earn his Juris Doctor from St. Mary’s Law School in 2013. While at St. Mary’s, he served on the board of the Criminal Law Association and completed a prestigious three-year clerkship with the law offices of Goldstein, Hilley & Orr — one of Texas’s top criminal defense firms.

In 2017, he co-founded Argüelles & Lambert with his partner Philip Lambert. Since then, Rolando has built a practice focused exclusively on criminal law, representing individuals facing charges ranging from misdemeanors to serious felonies. He is known for his attention to detail, sharp legal mind, and strong courtroom presence.
